Meet Kaden Weber, a 4th-year history major & lead student ambassador! 🐾
"Hello! I’m Kaden Weber, a fourth-year, first-generation student. I graduated from Washougal (Wash.) High School and started at WSU Vancouver as a freshman. I am excited to be the lead student ambassador this year! I’m studying history to obtain my bachelor’s degree, and then I plan to move on to my master’s in teaching to teach high school students. I chose WSU Vancouver because it is close to where I live, and I enjoy the small classroom feeling. As a student, you can build an effective connection with the professor and other students in the class. During the summer of 2023, I went to Rome, Italy, on the Study Abroad program. The program allowed me to use what I’ve learned from textbooks in one of the most ancient cities on Earth."

Classes are in full swing, which means so is studying. 📚📝Our campus has many spots to study for your next test, paper, assignment, or to catch up with friends—and here are some of our campus favorites.

💻Interprofessional Learning Center (ILC): Located on the third floor of SAC, it is perfect space to collaboratively work together with peers.

📚Health Sciences Library: The library is the perfect, quiet study destination—plus the big windows are a great spot to look at the fall leaves during this changing season.

🌳Outside: While the weather is still warm & sunny (especially this week!) getting outside to study is one of the best ways to soak up some Vitamin D.

🛋️Health Science Building (HSB) Den: Newly updated, the HSB Den located in the basement is a fun spot to relax & recharge with friends.

🏫SAC Lobby: Favored among many #SpoCougs, the SAC lobby is a great destination to work between classes & catch up with friends. Bonus: It is also the perfect spot to grab a beverage or snack from the newly renovated, Riverpoint Cafe!

Where is your favorite spot to study? 🐾Let us know! ⬇️

Meet Marcus Vela, student ambassador!

"Hey everybody! My name is Marcus Vela, and I am a second-year psychology major here at WSU Vancouver. I decided to come to WSU Vancouver because it’s close to home and has the major that I am interested in. Fun facts about me are that I am Hispanic, I have two cats, and I am a major fan of professional basketball and football! I’m excited to work as a student ambassador to guide, help and support the future of WSU."
